Summer Sunday League

Managers  (Message updated 8/20/2025) ***** All remaining entry fee balances are due by Friday Aug 22nd to avoid team forfeits foe the entire weekend. 

This is the final weekend of pool play (doubleheader) Saturday Aug 23rd, followed by a league ending tournament on Sunday Aug 24th. The tournament seeding is based on wins and losses for the entire league event. Coaches, thank you for playing in the league this summer and we believe your team has progressed thru out the league to be ready for the 2026 season. 

Baseball Grind rules are as follows for this weekend Aug 23-24

.Rosters are required once again for the tournament also if you are replacing any players who quit your team or are ill (No AAA players allowed) Email roster to rguerrajr69@yahoo.com by Friday night Aug 22.

.Protest are in effect for the tournament if protester is confident on player(s) violating rules such as age violation or not on the roster or listed as a AAA player. Teams will risk forfeiting their game if protest is valid after game is over. Teams protesting an opposing player are required to call time after the 1st pitch thrown and go to home plate umpire for the protest. An $100 protest fee is required and game will be timed out as TD and umpire request all verified info from opposing player.  Team will be refunded there $100 protest fee only if they win the protest. If protest was called at start of game, player will be removed from game. If protest was called after game , protested player and team will be forfeited if protest is valid by violation.

. No run cap for tournaments (Games will be open)

. Rune rule in effect (15 after 2 innings) (12 run after 3 innings)(8 runs after 4 innings)

. Time limit 1 hour 30 minutes (No 5 minute rule) Finish the inning

.Sportsmanship is in effect for all coaches, parents and players. Coaches who attend the homeplate meeting are the only individuals who umpires will communicate with.  HP Coaches if you can not control your asst coaches, parents, players of inflamatory remarks or aggressive physical behavior. HP coaches will be given 1 warning at the homeplate.  There after HP coaches will be ejected from the entire park. If inflamatory remarks or physical behavior continue after game resumes. The game will be forfeited and team will be asked to leave the premises.

.Pitch count is in effect  (18 outs for the weekend) All  score book keepers are required to keep outs and pitcher names and jersey number and inform the field umpire. 

Tournament director will be on site and will not permit phone calls, text messages from parents or asst coaches about unfair calls from umpires or opposing team. 

Balls and strikes will be called fair to both sides. Any questionable calls are to be explained if coaches call a proper time out and approach the umpire in question. If the call in question needs help by secondary umpire. Coach will request help ONLY if play is beneficial for a possible turnover. Do not approach umpire aggressively or with inflamatory remarks .
